Always Get Back Up

I am watching a black belt test with my boys, as my oldest is moving along with his Tae Kwon Do studies and he wanted to see what a black test is like. He is testing for his advanced blue belt soon, and has his eyes, and heart, firmly set on that crowning ranking.

They are doing falls at the present moment.... which they have been doing for the past 35 minutes...

Front fall. Back fall. Side fall.

Over and over.

The "lesson"?

You get knocked down.
You get back up.
You get knocked down.
You get back up.
You get knocked down.
You get back up.
You get knocked down.
You get back up.
You get knocked down.
You get back up.
You get knocked down.
You get back up.
You get knocked down.
You get back up.
You get knocked down.
You get back up.
You get knocked down.
You get back up.

Never. Never. Ever. Quit.

It's a lesson that covers all of life, and one that folks who have diabetes in the lives in some capacity, in particular,  learn early.

Keep choppin'!
