Hello again. I am tuning in to give you an update on how the filming and technical logistics of TD for our good friend ,Tony are going. FAN-TAS-TIC.
According to the Twitter feed ( you can follow Tony on Twitter-- @type1rider) and his Facebook page, he and the documentary film crew, Taproot Films, are progressing at the speed of light. Filming took place all week, with some intense footage of the bike build ( yes, he is actually building his bike for Tour Divide) and some personal one on one footage from Tony himself on how he is getting prepared, now that the TD is within grasp. Supplies for the trip down the west coast are scantily in his possession, and he is anxiously anticipating the remainder of the bike parts, camping equipment and frame bags to arrive any day.
He is steadily working with his team of healthcare professionals to fine tune his insulin therapies, both standard and in an emergent situation, and also piecing together his nutrition plan.
